WOD 130601:

BBG

1) 20 minutes to establish a 1RM Snatch.

2) 20 minutes to establish a 1RM Clean & Jerk.

Strength

*Note: Group 4, do not do this portion.

*Notes: The goal is to finish all 20 reps with no slowing of pace and no pause/rest. Try to complete the set as quickly as possible.

  2. This for tempo as well so do like the instructions say. No pausing, stand up and then right back down with no pausing.

  4. Snatch – 70kg , tried 80kg 3 times, failed all because of catching the bar infront of me. I always seem to jump back with my feet in the pull, anyone any tips on how I can fix this?
    C&J – went miserable, so I skipped it after a few tries

    20bs – 85kg unbroken, no problem, was easy

    Conditioning:
    Due to afghanland resources, subbed rope climbs for 20x Pull-Ups per round and 10x Burpees for each run. Came in @25:16.
    Again, I know that sucks….but one day I won’t.

    • Ok I just read the instructions closer about no pausing. So back squat not done as written so probably a big fat no rep:(

    Cnd – 5:15 seems not very fast if i remember other regions correctly

  7. 1) 145lbs got it clean this week! Last week both knees hit and I had to lunge it up
    2) 185, 195 Failed twice Could not clean it up Just couldnt get my back to pull the weight quick enough
    1×20 135lbs (First time ever doing the 1×20) only 13 reps and got stuck in the bottom. Back was lockin up
    Cond- 9:57 Scaled 165 cleans

  8. Sn – 242, missed 264 3 times. Need to stop making that big of a jump. Too fatigued lately.

    CJ – 308, missed 323 three times.

  13. Snatch up to 175, lower back uncomfortable pulling more.
    C&J up to 245, put 255 on and was uncomfortable off the ground, left it alone.

    HBBS – subbed 20 tire flips with 400# tire. BS was movement that challenged my hip/low back issue.

    Event 7
    10:30 not a great time, but I had to slow up a lot on the squat cleans and focus on technique.

  14. BBG –
    1) 230 – 240 (failed x 4 – all behind)
    2) 285 – 295 (failed x 2 – got to shoulders just didn’t stand it up)

    Str –
    1RM – OHS – 290. Had more just could not get 300 locked out over head.
    1×20 @ 255 – only did 10

    Cnd –
    8:01
    6 C2B for rope climbs. Missed 2 cleans.
