WOD 120223:

Rest day.


What did you think it would be – 225# Power Cleans? Seriously. In the immortal words of Kenny Powers, “Before you say anything, prepare to shut the fuck up.” If you don’t think we’re prepared for Burpees and a 7 minute time signature, then you haven’t been around very long. This is NOT a “strength bias” program; whatever the fuck that means. This is a prepare for any task program, and guess what…?

We’ve done approximately 200 Burpees a week for the last 4 weeks.

You should all be hi-fiving someone; it’s just another Friday. Some heavy squats, some Burpees, and a glass of Jameson (at least that’s my Friday). This is a silver platter WOD, folks. Turn the clock on, fall down, get up… Pretty simple.

By the way, don’t fucking complain. That shit is annoying.

    Now, was that a power clean or full clean? I’m thinking if you can save that, you should be able to get the bounce and stand up easier….

    Either way, cheers. That is a great lift!

  4. I guess Pat has you guys all figured out ! Doesn’t explain why you’re kicking everyone’s asses across the country… Well see how pure .com stacks up. Wait no one that competes does that. Look forward to seeing the domination.

  5. Kill it, Outlaws. So wishing I could join in. I finally got my cast off my hand (sweet!), but am still stuck in a wrist splint for the next 6-8 weeks…no burpees for me anytime soon. I have started light grip work, etc, but am not supposed to do any Oly lifting or high-impact work for the next 8-10 weeks. This has been a crappy fracture to have, and couldn’t have happened at a worse time.

    Will be watching from the sidelines and cheering you all on!
